Pokemon black and white 2 maps
I actually just caught a Darumaka, which is one of my favorite fire types. I'm liking the game so far, gen 5, while I've never played it, has some of my favorite pokemon that I learned to love in gen 6. That being said, I just finished back to back gen 6 lockes (Pokemon Y standard nuzlocke and Alpha Sapphire Wonderlocke), so maybe I just need to get my footing back. So it seems odd that this one is giving me trouble. I've locked Emerald (both regular emerald and emerald randomizer) and Soul Silver before, in addition to gen 6. Lockes have ruined me for normal playthroughs, heck, I still haven't done a normal playthrough of ORAS. Gen 3 is a good intermediate Locke if you've already tried Lockeing Gen 6- can't go wrong with FRLG or RSE.īest of luck dude, and don't hesitate to follow up with any q's! Gen 6 is notoriously a step down in terms of difficulty, in terms of AI, NPC team size, and abundance of EXP, so if you've only Locked XY and ORAS so far, I'm not surprised something earlier is giving you grief. Nothing a healthy dose of grinding can't fix though, and fortunately, Audino makes that a snap (though you might end up overdosing on HP EVs.) Definitely some intense fights you have to be good and ready for. Third, I've Locked both, and they were decently tough, although White was my first Locke ever, so that might be the inexperience talking. Gen 5 is my favorite generation by a longshot, and if you've never played it, I recommend you just do a normal playthrough to enjoy the story and characters (that's right - STORY and CHARACTERS in a Pokémon game!), and just get a feel for the level curve, etc. IMO Pokémon has really stood the test of time. Does the game stay this way? with the routes few and far between and high level trainers or does the locke balance out later?įirst of all, welcome back to the fold. In addition to that, it seems that there are less routes, at least in the early game, so you have fewer opportunities to grab pokemon. Is this game just one of the harder ones to Nuzlocke? the Gym leaders seem to be more aggressively leveled and grinding seems to take a lot longer. This game seems a bit harder to nuzlocke then X/Y or ORAS (and I don't use the XP share in those games) and even a bit harder than HG/SS which I didn't struggle through too much.
I just barely get through, we're on to the next city now, she's all safe for now. So, I barely manage to get through the gym with my last pokemon, Storm, the Elekid. Then, while grinding, my Sewaddle, Bug Bud, goes down to a wild Growlithe, 8 levels lower than it, that crits on an ember for an OHKO. My Patrat, Scout and my Snivy, Leafy, both fall to a trainer in the second gym. Next playthrough, my Lillipup Scruffy falls in gym 1, but I still continue on. So anyway, I picked up Black 2/White 2 on a limb (mainly because my friends have told me the original black and white are mediocre compared to other titles in the series) and I'm a little stuck.įirst playthrough of the game, the first gym Leader sweeps me. I skipped over gen 5 entirely, just going straight into the 3DS titles.
I never played any of the gen 5 games, I was in that high school phase of "I'm too old for pokemon" I got out of pokemon a couple of months before Platinum came out and got back in a couple of months before OR/AS came out.
